“It makes me feel great to live here!”

Julington Creek Plantation

First impressions are lasting impressions!  So many of our residents fell in love with this community at first sight and the love story continues.  Julington Creek Plantation prides itself on its beauty - approximately 1200 acres of natural areas and over 100 acres of ponds.  Locally known as “The Plantation” or just “JCP”, our neighborhood schools, nearby medical facilities, golf course, recreation offerings, and convenient shopping centers have made us one of the most sought after communities in the area.  Winner of 2005 “Best Community for Families” by North Florida Families Magazine.  JCP offers a variety of homes designed and constructed by award-winning builders and architects.  The Plantation’s wide range of amenities and quiet natural setting support a broad range of activities for families and individual residents.

Amenities

The most recent addition to Julington Creek Plantation is the CDD Recreation Center, built in 2008.  See a slideshow of the new recreation facilities.  It is a two-story $15M facility in a beautiful setting offering registered participants workout equipment, free weights, fitness classes, a clay court tennis complex, a fishing pond, basketball courts, a skateboard park, and a children’s playground.  For social activities there is the Cyber Café, two community rooms and a teen center.  Child care services are available.  The heated competition pool, family pool, waterslide, water park, and wading pool complement the three pools in the original Aquatic Center on the west side of JCP (see http://www.jcpcdd.org/Pools.html).

In 2009, the Aquatic Center received a remodeling and pool resurfacing.  An 18-hole golf course, the Champions Club at Julington Creek, meanders around the neighborhoods, through tall pine and oak forests.  The landscaped common areas provide opportunities for bicycling, walking, and just sitting to enjoy the views.  Reserve one of the banquet rooms for a party or dinner, or rent one of several pavilions in the community.
